It is a matter of immense pleasure for me to be a part of Durga Soren University Deoghar family as its firstVice Chancellor. I take this opportunity of welcoming students coming from all part of globe.

Durga Soren University runs under Shivam trust Deoghar is the first private university of Santhal Pargana region (Jharkhand) it is established by the Jharkhand legislative act No 9/2023 recognised under section 2(f) of UGC act 1956. The membership of the association of Indian University is also granted. The University is poised for meeting the expectation of the society in general and tribal population in particular. It is preparing students or leadership in multifunctional world in reaching through teaching, research, training, creative and outrich activities so as to meet the aspiration of the Nation.

The University has well qualified faculties namely Science, Social Science, Commerce and Management, Computer Science, Humanities and language, Journalism and Mass communication, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedical, Engineering and Technology, Hotel Management, Food and Nutrition, Technical, Vocational Education, Skill Training, Beauty and Wellness, Fire and safety management, Interior designing, Yoga and Social Work. The courses being offered range from Graduation to Doctoral level including certificate and diploma courses.
