DSU library system consists of one central libraries and departmental libraries in various disciplines of Medical Sciences, Engineering, and Technology, Management, Science, Library Science, Fine Arts, Journalism and Mass-Communication. These libraries are located in various centralized locations in the University.

DSU library open on all days from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm. Central libraries have a rich collection of volumes (10000 Books) of Textbooks, Reference books, Journals, Periodicals etc. The libraries have automated in-house activities such as library membership, circulation of documents, holdings of periodicals.

“A library is a hub around which revolves the activities of any academic institution”.

The main objective of the library is to provide documents, information dealing with the latest developments, technologies, etc. to keep the faculty members and the researchers abreast of the nascent thoughts and ideas to update their knowledge.

An Advisory Committee of Central Library has been constituted that comprises of the following officers/faculty members to control the proceedings and to streamline the activities and services of the Central Library and the departmental libraries
